A RUSH TO SPAIN

More than 11 million Britons took a holiday in Spain during the first nine months of 2011, an increase of 10% on the same period last year.

SPANISH PROPERTY SALES UP BY 22 PER CEN IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF THIS YEAR

Buyers from overseas are helping to keep the property market buoyant during the economic crisis

There were 90,746 property sales in Spain in the second quarter this year, representing a 22 per cent increase on the first quarter, according to the latest figures released by the central government.
